Parking brake for your Can Am Maverick Sport/Trail/Commander - Fits ALL 2018 and newer models. DOES NOT FIT X3 MODELS.

This brake does not have the locking feature.

Installation Instructions

• The bolt that the Parking Brake mounts to is on the backside of the steering box, and is a 13mm head. Remove this bolt using all of your ninja skills.
  1. (While this is not the easiest install of the various parking brakes we make, it should still be under 10 minutes. Sorry for the blind bolt to remove / install, but there’s not a lot of other options without drilling holes and a lot more other headaches.
• The top of the “V” notch mounting bracket will be in the up position, placing the red arm at the bottom of the steering box mount. See photo.
• When re-installing the bolt, before it is fully tightened, make sure the “V” portion of the mounting bracket is rotated/positioned to fully seat into the pocket of the housing. Tighten the bolt back up. The red arm and entire assembly should line up like the photo when tightened.
• To engage, depress brake pedal with left foot, slide the red arm with your right foot to lock onto the pedal. To release, simply push the brake pedal again.

When parking on a hill always set the parking brake BEFORE putting transmission into park.

ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
